Application Engineer

Position Overview:

Perform design and proposals of heat exchanger equipment and systems to fulfill the needs of customers and sales force. Research, collect, and report information on the capacity of company products and competing equipment. Support manufacturing and sales acting as technical liaison.

Responsibilities:

·         Heat Exchanger designs and proposals as required to support sales and supplier requirements.

·         Interface as required with Sales, Manufacturing, and Customer.

·         Be accountable for equipment design and proposals.

·         Clearly communicate expectations to all departments and suppliers.

·         Coordinate and resolve any issues or problems that occur with product design and installation.

·         Effectively manage project scope by ensuring that changes are documented and approved by customers and vendors. Any monetary changes are communicated and accounted for immediately.

·         Provide progress reports and results as necessary to management.

·         All responsibilities as assigned by company management.

Job Requirements:

·         Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)

·         At least five years of work experience in Mechanic Engineering.

·         Have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the heat transfer industry

·         Experience in heat transfer industry preferred.

·         Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

·         Be able to adapt to a rapidly changing project environment.

·         Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
